James 5:16b-18 AMP
"16b...The EFFECTIVE, fervent, (earnest, heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
17 Elijah was a human being (a man) with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months. [I Kings 17:1.]
18 And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual]." [I Kings 18:42-45.]
The main focus in the Body of Christ has been on fervent prayer, but if our prayers aren't effective all the fervency in the world won't make a difference! Faith makes fervent prayer effective with tremendous power that changes things. Keep praying, keep standing and keep releasing faith and believing.

Why are you reasoning?
We can still see reflections of the disciples of Jesus in our lives today... after all, we are still His disciples (followers of Christ)...
Matthew 16:5-12 NKJV
Now when His disciples had come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. Then Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.” And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have taken no bread.”
Since they hay had forgotten to bring bread along, the moment they heard Jesus speak the word "Leaven" they became focused on their failure, caught in a circle of reason, blame and fear. They couldn't hear the Spiritual warning and truth the Master was sharing with them, too busy lost in leaven. Reasoning can clog up the hearing ears of the Spirit blind us from seeing beyond the natural circumstances.
But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought no bread? Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up? How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread?— but to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Jesus admonishes the disciples to Remember the miraculous and get back on track with faith and believing. Remember means to RE-MEMORIAL... If you're going to think about bread, remember God's provision and His power! Remember His goodness and His love. Let leaven trigger life, not loss.
Live in His love today! :-)
